About Richard Fuller MP

Richard was born in Bedford and lives in the heart of the constituency.

 

He was raised and educated locally before leaving for Oxford University to study for his BA. Richard subsequently completed an MBA at Harvard Business School.

 

During his career, Richard has been a partner in a venture capital firm; a partner in a management consulting firm and has worked in many locations around the world including Australia, Korea, the Philippines and the United States.

 

Richard believes passionately in his home town of Bedford and is actively involved in local campaigns. He has recently fought to complete the much-needed Bedford by-pass, save Bedford Hospital and tackle violent crime in the town centre. Richard is a member of the Bedford Hospital Trust and recently completed his term as a governor of Hazeldene Lower School – the school he attended forty years ago.

 

Richard also stood for the Parliamentary seat of Bedford in the 2005 General Election.
